more tomorrow than today | 10:12 PM |

Wow, what a tiring week this has been!
I'm really starting to miss cafe food, cooking and washing dishes is just too time consuming. The coming week will even be crazier with the labs in full-force and assignments flying in all directions. On top of that...first job postings are up.

It's good to be back home for the weekend, really good food and good sleep. Despite the few slips and turns, it's been a relaxing time...got my resume up to date!

Earlier this week, I had a talk with one of my friends from UW (I've only known him for about a year). It was interesting cause as the conversation progressed we began becoming more vulnerable with each other. Before-long we were sharing our past slips, stumbles and failures. Coincidentally, a lot of our mistakes were quite identical...which is kinda interesting...almost freaky at times. Anywho, it's good that we both took away lessons during the dark times.

At Community Fellowship Church, we're starting a series on "Home Movies". I really liked last week's sermon on the Mate-Risk...quite useful I must say.

more tomorrow than today | 10:09 PM |

Internet still not installed at the house, nor is a phone line. Had to resort to using the school's computer...which is tiresome cause it involves walking...craziness.

First day of classes was rather interesting yesterday, really made me wanna go back to first year again. Oh yeah, I almost fell off my bike cause the texts, manuals and course note I had to get were ridiculously heavy. However, it was good seeing a lot of the people again and heading to Morty's with Duncan, Will and Josh for some super duper wings!

I'm already studying for the mid-term for one of my courses cause that's how hard it's suppose to be. Crappers, I feel like such a big nerd. When I come home I eat, nap and study. It's so much easier to be anti-social without communication to the outside world. Last night my family came over with the desk...which was nice of them to drive all the way to deliver it cause I really needed it.

I think I'm getting too distracted with the ladies at Waterloo...

Today I had my first Co-op 101 session. Writing a decent resume with a cover letter is gonna be a lot harder than I expected. The first job postings are up next week so I needa geting cracking with it. And being the big idiot I am, I left my resume at home hence I will needa make a round trip back this weekend to pick it up.

Looking forward to CCC tomorrow night. These days spiritually...has been extremely dry. I think my heart has gone cold. Or my spirit is dead. I don't know...but either way, I haven't felt this way before. It almost feels as if I've ventured too far to swim back ashore? The steak's been cooked too done for the return of its juices, the chopstick has snapped and can't be glued back, my faith is gone and cannot be revived? I'd really appreciate it if people could pray for me for those who still read this humble blog?

Anywho, enough about me...how are you guys doing? School's treating you well? How's the cooking coming along?

Josh and I tried making waffles via Kwan's gift to me...and being the manly man I am...I decided not to follow the instructions and just used my "expertise" and guided the ingredients along. Unfortunately...things ended up in a gooey, slimey and burnt mess. Took about two days to remove the stuck on batter off the machine...hehe. Lesson learned: get a lady so she'll force you to read the instructions manual. =D

Well, I'm typing this on my computer right now...maybe I'll upload this when I go home for the weekend.

more tomorrow than today | 10:56 PM |

Four months has passed. Gone.
Four weeks of Chemistry-less. Gone.
Four days till the loo. Gonna be gone.

Well, it felt like the warmth of a microwave on the ever innocent kernels of corn...my last and final summer holiday has come to an abrupt end. Pop. It wasn't the most productive nor was it the least. I guess it was average...the meridian of a cup-cake if you will.

Anywho, looking forward to heading back into a less comfortable zone again...I miss the challenges and surprises of university life. Whether it be the pop-quiz or weird offers to do weird stuff with some weird-o while studying the Science of Weirdness...it sure beats 9015 Leslie Street any day.

Sure will miss the folks...
Soldiers :: twas' an interesting season, had a couple of really memorable games with you guys...Metro Square is still the place to eat!
People's peeps :: lot's of food and chillin' times...movie night and fireworks...! It's neat to see how everyone is growing and maturing in their walks!
Waterloo nerds :: see you guys in a while!

When you need time the most
You will find it the least
But when there's too much of it
It wastes like fruitcake deceased
