The day before today was another day of dismay
What ever happened to the fire and flame?
Being lukewarm is such an easier way
But I refuse to live in shame, denying His Name.
I've tried my best and worked my hardest but it's in God's arms I need to rest
Yesterday was another day wasted and gone
This current day will be full of more tests
Let the passion burn, I wanna write out a song
Is this really the life you want to live?
Is this what it's all about?
Is not heaven what we're all about?
Then let's proclaim it with a shout!
Time to face the clock that ticks, with each hour our lives flick
How long will you sleep oh sluggard?
How long will you refuse to love one another?
How long will you ignore the poor and the sick?
To live radically is to stick out like a sore thumb
Can we truly say we are radicals or just like everyone else?
Are we going the extra mile and sharing our crumbs?
Or are we just like everyone else?
We are no different than the Pharisees
If we continually live in hypocrisy
Our tongues tell of morals but our lives run in tangents
We cannot say we are poor while living in mansions.
Forget about living the mediocre life
All that it will create is dissent and strife
It's either yes or no, our hearts will show
Because if we're truly light, we will glow.
Is this really the life you want to live?
Is this what it's all about?
Is not heaven what we're all about?

Too many days have gone by wasted, with no cause for the kingdom. Forget about tomorrow, I wanna live today.
